Official name for the National Football League team in Tampa, FL. Part of the National Football Conference. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers used to be one of the worst teams in the NFC, but bounced back in the mid to late 1990's to become a quality football team. They won Super Bowl XXXVII against the Oakland Raiders.
